Part one: CROWN OF HAT ("increase rounds")

Important Sizing Note: Continue working the rounds for the crown of the hat until the crown’sec diameter is most ¾ inch (two cm) shorter the desired crown size (mention to the Hat Sizing Chart).  For case, if your desired crown size is 14 cm, stop at 12 cm.   

R1: Ch iii. Hdc into 3rd ch from claw. Insert ix hdc into same st. *Join amongst a sl st to the showtime hdc. (x hdc) 
R2: Ch two, hdc-inc about. *Join. (xx sts) 
R3: Ch two, (hdc, hdc-inc) ten x. *Join. (thirty sts) 
R4: Ch 2, (hdc ii, hdc-inc) ten 10. *Join. (forty sts) 
R5: Ch two, (hdc 3, hdc-inc) x 10. *Join. (fifty sts) 
R6: Ch two, (hdc four, hdc-inc) 10 x. *Join. (threescore sts) 
R7: Ch 2, (hdc v, hdc-inc) x 10. *Join. (seventy sts) 
R8: Ch 2, (hdc half-dozen, hdc-inc) ten 10. *Join. (80 sts) 
R9: Ch two, (hdc vii, hdc-inc) ten 10. *Join. (xc sts) 
R10: Ch two, (hdc viii, hdc-inc) ten x. *Join. (100 sts)

Remember to cease when the crown’sec diameter (length of this apartment circle piece) is almost ¾ inch (2 cm) shorter than the desired crown size (name to the Hat Sizing Chart). Without fastening off, continue alongside the directions for Part ii.


Part 2: HEIGHT OF HAT ("directly rounds")
