Baby Size (six-12 months)

Use medium weight (iv) yarn with a five.5mm crochet claw.

Note: We will start out working in rounds.

R1: In a MR: ch 2, insert ten hdc. *Join amongst a sl st to the get-go hdc. (ten hdc)

R2: Ch two, hdc-inc about. *Join. (twenty hdc)

R3: Ch ii, (hdc, hdc-inc) ten x. *Join. (thirty hdc)

R4: Ch ii, (hdc ii, hdc-inc) ten x. *Join. (twoscore hdc)

R5: Ch 2, (hdc 3, hdc-inc) x ten. *Join. (fifty hdc)

R6: Ch two, (hdc iv, hdc-inc) 10 x. *Join. (sixty hdc)

Note: Check approximate at this point. The circle should measure out near 5 inches across. If your circle is larger than the target size, purpose a smaller claw. If smaller, role a larger claw. Get equally or so indicated measurements every bit possible. We will forthwith function inwards rows (without joining) from here on out.

R7: Ch two, hdc 52. Leave the terminal 8 sts unworked. (52 hdc)

R8-R17: Ch two, turn. Hdc in same st, sk adjacent st. (Sc+dc inwards next st, sk next st) all the manner across. Hdc inwards terminal st.
